This project focuses on product end-use performance and provides support to members’ sustainable development goals.
The key objectives of this project are to:
- evaluate and benchmark, in round robin testing, the performance of various structural wood adhesives with emphasis on new generation PRF-based and non-PRF based resins under the Canadian wood adhesive standard CSA O112.9;
- assess whether the procedures in the CSA O112.9 standard give repeatable and reproducible results; and
- use the information to assist in the harmonization of Canadian and US requirements for structural wood adhesives.
