Objective:

The main purpose of this project is to improve the fire behaviour of wood products.
The objectives of the project are to:

  • Evaluate the capacity of inorganic nanoparticles to limit fire-related problems;
  • Create a heat barrier effect (thermal screen);
  • Develop protection strategies against flame spread (coatings).
