Project leaders: Tremblay, Carl, Ehrecke, Brian

Objective:

The main objective of this project is to determine optimum processing parameters through moulder operations to strengthen glue bondlines in hardwoods.

 Key objectives are:
  • Study the impact of moulding parameters on glue joints quality (width and strength)
  • Find a measurable processing indicator related to the decreasing quality of the glue joints

Start date: 2008-04-01 End date: 2009-03-31
